Acumen an intracollegiate management fest organized by the Department of Management was successfully conducted on the 3rd September 2015 with the theme Imperium, meaning good governance. The aim of Acumen is to train the first and second year students of the BBA programme with principles of management and decision making skills. It also prepares them to meet the challenges thrown at them by the competitive world with the right attitude. The event is hosted by the final year students.
Acumen 2015 this year was inaugurated by a budding entrepreneur Mr. Naveen Kumar, Co-founder and Market Maker of Absuns, the ceremony was further presided by Fr. Augustine George, Vice Principal. In total 8 events were conducted incorporating the wide spectrum of management. The event witnessed participation from 400 students. The participants testified that they were highly benefitted by the programme and expressed confidence that their exposure will certainly yield good dividends in the future. In the valedictory ceremony the winners were felicitated with trophies and certificates by Fr. Lijo P Thomas, the Financial Administrator. The winners of Acumen 2015 will form the core team of participants that will represent our college in the intercollegiate state and national level management fests.
