The Department of Social Work in association with The Centre for Employability and Corporate Relations organized a Training Program on Employability Skills on the 30th June 2016 for the 3rd semester Master of Social Work students.
The session began with Mr. Sen Mathews (Head- Centre for Employability and Corporate Relations and Ms. Neeta Trivedi informing the students about the functions of the centre. Ms. Neeta briefed the students on the guidelines for the registration for the Placement season (GATE- 2017). Mr. Sen Mathews led an interactive session on participation in general discussions and on how to maintain professional conduct especially when introducing oneself. He emphasized the importance of employability skills.
The interactive activity based session helped the students to analyse their level of competence and reflect their understanding of the contents of the orientation. The career orientation session concluded with Mr. Sen Mathews giving his feedback and encouraging students to be determined to enhance their employability skills.
