About the College

Kristu Jayanti College, founded in 1999, is managed by "BODHI NIKETAN TRUST", formed by the members of St. Joseph Province of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI). The College is affiliated to Bengaluru North University and is reaccredited with grade 'A++' in 2021 by NAAC in the Third Cycle of Accreditation. The College is recognized by UGC under the categories 2(f) & 12(B). The college was accorded Autonomous Status in 2013 by the University Grants Commission, Government of Karnataka & the Bangalore North University. For its contribution in the field of Education, Kristu Jayanti College has been recently given the Clean and Smart Campus award. In the NIRF 2022 rankings, the college was placed among the top 150 colleges in the country and ranks as one of the five colleges from Karnataka. In the India Today - MDRA survey 2022, Kristu Jayanti College, Bengaluru is consecutively ranked as the Best Emerging College of the Century at National Level for Commerce, Science and Arts. at National Level and the college is ranked 4th Best BCA, 12th Best MSW, 17th Best BBA, 19th Best Commerce, 21st Best Arts, 24th Best Science and 34th Best Mass Communication College in India. The institution strives to fulfill its mission to provide educational opportunities to all aspiring youth to excel in life by developing academic excellence, fostering values, creating civic responsibility, inculcating environmental concern and building global competencies in a dynamic environment. 

About the Department of Physical Sciences

The Department of Computer Science exists from the inception of the college (1999). The Department has multidisciplinary courses in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics and Electronics. Since Academic year 2022 - 23, the department of Mathematics, Statistics, Physics and Electronics came under the department of Physical Sciences. Department of Physical Sciences offers 3 years BSc Degree Dual major programme and 4 years BSc (Hons) Programme in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Electronics and Economics affiliated to Bengaluru North University. The department has implemented NEP Curriculum in accordance with Karnataka Higher Education council. In the India Today - MDRA survey 2022, B.Sc Programme was Ranked 29th best among the BSc Colleges in India and 4th Best College in Bengaluru. The survey also ranked the college as 1st in Science among the colleges in India. Each discipline enables the students to be employable to explore new horizons in the path of higher studies and research. The department believes in continuous knowledge and skill enhancement by encouraging participation in conferences, seminars, workshops, publishing research articles, organizing value added certificate, bridge courses, Skill Exhibitions and Inter and Intra Collegiate fests. The academic alliances of the department with IT giants like Microsoft and Oracle to offer industry curriculum is a special feature of the department. 

Conference Introduction:

A significant amount of research has been carried out in the ever-evolving field of Physical Sciences in the past few centuries. As a result, plenty of remarkable consequences of different flow problems have been identified and utilized in the relevant industrial applications, and the mathematical and statistics fundamentals have been significantly enriched. In modern times, scientists can simulate and visualize some of the most complex flow settings in real time with high-precision numerical techniques and super-effective computing facilities. This conference aims to provide a platform for researchers, scholars, academicians and practitioners across the nation to interact and share knowledge on various advances in the said area. The conference will focus on several new and novel techniques and methodologies and their applications to provide broad exposure to budding researchers in this field. Further, this conference will also offer an opportunity for emerging scientists to interact with some of the eminent experts in the domain of Mathematical, Statistics and Electronics filed and practitioners from different parts of the nation. 

Aim and Objectives:

The aim of the conference is to provide a platform to the researchers across the nation to discuss the challenges in recent development in various fields of Applied sciences, Optimization and Computational Sciences. Research exchange, enhancement and discussions will be incubated from a number of presentations by the researchers from academia and industry. 

Scope and Theme:

The theme of this conference revolves around bringing mathematical, statistics, engineering, technology, and electronics research areas synchronically on an indivisible platform. This conference will draw collectively research fellowships from diverse fields in unitedness, to share their research findings and latest ideas. The main intention of this conference is to integrate interdisciplinary inquiry to deliver the best applications.

About the NCRTEMS Conference Preamble

On 3 March 2023, the Department of Physical Sciences (UG) is organizing the 1st interdisciplinary National conference on Recent Trends in Electronics, Mathematics and Statistics. The primary objective of National Conference on Recent Trends in Electronics, Mathematics and Statistics (NCRTEMS-2023) is to discuss the developments, key approaches, research line, challenges and unsolved open problems encountered in the field of electronics, mathematics and statistics . NCRTEMS-2023 will bring together leading Academicians, Researchers, Engineers and Scientists in the domain of interest across the country by providing a platform to present new advances and research outcomes in the field of electronics, mathematics and statistics. It will also assist to bridge the gap between research contributions provided by the academicians to meet the expectations of the research communities. Besides the research gains, the conference considers social and commercial issues in lives and in the social, economic and environmental assets of our nation using these novel technologies. To facilitate this, the conference hosts presentations of peer-reviewed original technical papers from academic and industry researchers. Cross-domain contributions from various application areas related directly or indirectly to the domains specified are also invited.
