Fostering Mental Well-being, Personal Growth, and Psychological Resilience

About the Centre

University life is a transformative journey marked by profound intellectual growth, personal exploration, and new life transitions. Alongside academic pursuits and career aspirations, students often encounter complex challenges such as academic pressure, emotional transitions, adjustment to university culture, interpersonal concerns, stress, anxiety, or moments where empathetic listening and guidance are essential. To nurture holistic mental and emotional health, the Counselling Centre provides a warm, non-judgmental, and strictly confidential sanctuary dedicated to fostering psychological well-being, self-discovery, and personal empowerment across the entire student community.

Supported by a dedicated team of qualified full-time professional counsellors bringing varied experience and specialized expertise, the Centre offers personalized one-on-one counselling, emotional guidance, crisis intervention, group developmental workshops, and appropriate referrals when specialized care is required. Students can connect with counsellors through self-initiated walk-ins and appointments or through referrals by mentors, faculty members, and academic departments. Through its student-centred, proactive, and compassionate approach, the Counselling Centre ensures that every learner feels heard, valued, and equipped with the clarity, confidence, and resilience needed to thrive academically and personally.
