M.Sc. Cybersecurity

Programme Overview
The Master of Science in Cyber Security, is a two-year (four-semester) programme that builds strong conceptual and practical competence in securing digital infrastructures and protecting information systems in contemporary technological environments. It provides students with hands-on exposure to modern security practices, tools, and frameworks, while fostering analytical thinking and incident-response capabilities required to address emerging cyber threats. The curriculum equips learners for professional roles in cyber defence, security operations, and risk management, and also serves as a strong foundation for those pursuing advanced research and academic careers in the cybersecurity domain.

Eligibility
Candidates who have passed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Applications or Information Technology or an equivalent degree in a related discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) are eligible to apply. Candidates who have completed B.E. or B. Tech in any relevant discipline with a strong background in Mathematics and Computer Science are also eligible.
