Well-equipped and state-of-the-art labs with updated technology are one of the strongest assets of the university. Practical sessions provide authentic and current knowledge to every budding scientist. The university takes pride in its labs that harbour a favourable nurturing ground for personal growth, research and social progress. The maximum number of graduate students who return for post-graduation itself is evidence of the quality of labs that the university offers. The university has computer labs, bio-science labs, psychology lab, commerce lab, language lab and multimedia center to give practical training in respective fields.
The institution has five computer labs housing more than 500 computers with advanced configurations distributed across the buildings. All the Labs are interconnected through LAN networks with 1Gbps, and highly configured L3 switches are used for intelligent network management. The institution has two ISPs (Airtel and ACT) with 350 Mbps bandwidth to provide a seamless internet facility to all students. The Internet is available in all the systems, and the campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Any student with a personal laptop connected to the server can access the internet and server services. Wi-Fi access enables students and faculty members to get the fastest access to web services anywhere within the campus.

The institution has an electronics lab that can accommodate 60 students. The electronics laboratory is well equipped with the latest devices used in the electronics field. It has advanced communication setup kits, Assembly Language Programming devices used for microprocessors and microcontrollers, latest digital electronics kits, and VHDL hardware kits. The laboratory is set up with unique and advanced CROs, functional generators, experimental kits, digital storage oscilloscope. It has an in-house project development center known as ‘Electronics Club’, where students work on the latest projects based on various fields of electronics. The lab also has the basic apparatus, like regulated power supplies, analogue functional generators, CROs, etc.

The institution has five computer labs housing more than 500 computers with advanced configurations distributed across the buildings. Two labs are configured as thin-client labs, and other labs have standalone machines but are connected through the network. All the labs are interconnected through LAN networks, and highly configured L3 switches are used for intelligent network management. The institution has two ISPs (Sify and Primus) with 6Mbps bandwidth to provide a seamless internet facility to all students. The Internet is available in all the systems, and the campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Any student with a personal laptop connected to the server can access the internet and server services. ISPs provide Radio Frequency Link (RFL), which enables students and faculty to get the fastest access to web services anywhere within the campus.
The Department of Biosciences has continually been striving for excellence in teaching and research. It imparts integrated teaching in major areas of Life sciences like Genetics, Microbiology, Biochemistry and Biotechnology. The department boasts a state-of-the-art laboratory that provides an arena for students to study the modern surroundings and to have hands-on practical knowledge in thrust areas of life science. The essence of science is hands-on training and experimentation with theoretical concepts, which makes learning complete. There are four laboratories in the university to carry out experiments in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry and Genetics. These labs are adequately equipped with sophisticated gadgets and instruments as a thermal cycler (PCR machine), U.V. spectrophotometer, a UV trans illuminator, an Image Capture device, a Gerber Centrifuge, a Deep freezer, a Digital colony counter, etc. The scientific temper, imagination and creativity of students are exhibited as they are encouraged to propose projects and carry them out in the same labs of the university. Such activities are not part of the University syllabus, but are initiatives of the department.
