The university conducts Term Examinations (Offline and Online) and End Semester/Trimester Examinations/Summative Assessment for the continuous evaluation of students. The CoE office is responsible for all matters connected with exam scheduling and conduct of examinations, arrangement for evaluation and declaration of results.
This committee mainly looks after the conduct of Midterm and Summative Assessment Examinations.

Midterm Examination (Offline):
Midterm Examination(Offline) are held during the Semester / Trimester for both UG & PG Programmes which will assess the academic progress of the students and the results of the same are intimated to the students as well as the parents.
Online Term Examination:
The Online Term Examinations for the UG batch students are conducted by the respective Course Teacher in the online mode through the KJLMS during the schedule provided by the Controller of Examinations.
The marks secured by the students in these term examinations will be taken into account for the calculation of FA marks. The scheduled dates of the Term examinations are mentioned in the University calendar. The timetable and the syllabus for the same are announced 10 days ahead of the commencement of the examination.
Guidelines- Midterm Examination (Offline)
1. Students should bring the Identity Card and Hall Ticket during the examinations without fail. Students are not allowed to appear for the examination without University ID card and Hall Ticket.
In case the student has not brought the ID card/Hall Ticket they should write a request letter addressed to the Controller of Examinations. This letter duly signed by the CoE/Asst. CoE has to be submitted in the Examination Office (Admin Block, First Floor) and the student has to avail a duplicate ID Card/Hall Ticket (valid only for that particular day) after paying the fine amount. Such students can enter the exam hall only after availing the duplicate ID Card/Hall Ticket from the Examination Office.
2. Students should be present in the Examination Hall 15 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
Latecomers shall not be allowed to write the Term Examinations.

3. Control Room for the Mid Term Examination is Examination Office (Admin Block, First Floor).
4. Students should verify whether the answer booklet they received does not have any damage before writing anything on it. If any damage is observed report to the invigilator immediately before writing anything in it.
5. Malpractice of any sort will be seriously dealt with.
6. Students are not allowed to scribble on the Question Papers. Scribbling on the Question Paper is considered as an act of malpractice. Students are supposed to write only their Roll number on top of their question paper.
7. Students are not allowed to have additional sheet for the Mid Term Theory Examinations. All the answers are to be written in the main answer booklet itself.
8. Students are not supposed to carry mobile phones, EarPodes, earphones, smart watches or any other electronic gadgets (except calculators) to the campus on examination days. If the student possesses any of those during the examination, then it is considered as an act of malpractice. In addition:
• If student possesses mobile phone during the examination a fine amount of Rs. 1000 has to be paid for getting the confiscated mobile in return.
• If student possesses smart watch/EarPods during the examination a fine amount of Rs. 500 has to be paid for getting the confiscated Smart Watch/EarPod
• If the mobile kept inside the bag rings/vibrates (due to an incoming call / alarm popping out) during the examination, then it will be confiscated and in order to release the same student has to pay a fine amount of Rs. 500 for getting the confiscated mobile in return.
9. Borrowing of writing materials, calculators, ruler scales etc. are not allowed.
10. Students can keep their bags and books inside the examination hall near the black board. Students should not keep anything on the window sill.
11. Students have to write the term examination for the stipulated seventy-five minutes’ duration. No student will be allowed to leave the examination hall in between.
12. No candidate is allowed to enter the examination hall after the commencement of the examination.
13. Students are not allowed to leave the examination hall for reasons like Washroom, drinking water & so on.
14. If the student changes his/her writing pen during the course of Examination, he/she has to get the initial from the respective invigilator stating “Change of Pen” in the answer script.
15. After the stipulated time of examination, the student has to handover the Answer script to the invigilator
16. Students should make sure that the number of pages used is properly written on the facing sheet before handing over answer scripts to the Invigilator.
17. Students should write the serial number of the main answer booklet along with their signature on the invigilator diary.
18. Students are not supposed to tear any page from the answer booklet. They may use the last page in the answer booklet bundle for rough work and strike the contents in the rough work page before submitting the same to the invigilator.
19. Students are requested to cross out the blank pages with cross mark ( X ).
20. Students are informed to strictly follow the University dress code and grooming rules during the examination days. Wearing blazer is not mandatory during Term Examination days.
Students without proper grooming/dress code will not be allowed to appear for the Term Examination.
