Supplementary Examination

According to the circumstances, different provisions are provided to the students who fail or who were absent during the SA Examinations. They are Immediate Supplementary Examination and Supplementary Examination.

Immediate Supplementary Examination

The eligible students who were absent or failed during the End Semester Examination of the current semester can apply for the Immediate Supplementary Examination immediately after the End Semester Examinations. Students who fail to appear for End Semester Examination representing the University in various events such as (Inter University or national/international competitions, Participation in Republic Day parade camp, national / international camps, student fellowship/student exchange programmes) can get a special permission from ERC to appear for an Immediate Supplementary Examination which shall be held immediately after the regular End Semester Examinations.

Supplementary Examination

Students who are having backlogs in the previous semesters shall apply for the Regular Supplementary Examination during the subsequent odd or even semester as per the guidelines given below:

Supplementary Examination of Odd Semester Courses can be appeared along with Odd Semesters

Supplementary Examination of Even Semester Courses can be appeared along with Even Semesters

For MBA Programmes: supplementary examination of first trimester courses can be done along with fourth trimester, that of second trimester courses can be done along with fifth trimester, and that of third trimester courses can be done along with sixth trimester courses.

NOTE:

Students involved in malpractice during the current semester shall not be eligible to apply for the immediate supplementary examination of that semester.

UG/PG students who have not passed all the courses within two years of extension after the Programme completion shall be allowed for a one-time sitting chance of supplementary examination after taking due approval from ERC.
