The Dual Major Programme in Biotechnology and Biochemistry is an interdisciplinary undergraduate programme designed to provide a strong foundation in the biological sciences, integrating the principles and applications of both biotechnology and biochemistry. The programme equips students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in molecular biology, genetics, cell biology, enzymology and biochemical techniques, along with exposure to emerging biotechnological tools and innovations.
By combining the two complementary disciplines, the programme prepares graduates for diverse career paths in research, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, agriculture, and biotech industry, as well as for higher studies in life sciences and allied fields.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates who have completed Higher Secondary (10+2 / PUC) or Equivalent with an aggregate of 40% or an equivalent CGPA and have studied Biology and Chemistry are eligible.
