Dr. Calistus Jude A L is a seasoned academician and researcher with 19 years of experience in teaching and administration at Kristu Jayanti College. With a Ph.D. in Zoology (broad filed of research - Human Genetics), from Bharathiar university, Coimbatore awarded during the year 2003, Dr. Jude has explored the intricacies of chromosomal aberrations in both non-cancerous and cancerous conditions of the gastrointestinal tract. His doctoral research delved into the significance of these aberrations and their potential utility as markers to predict the progression of non-cancerous lesions into cancerous ones. Dr. Jude’s present research interest lies in the field of genotoxicity studies. As the Dean, Dr. Jude leads the academic and administrative functions of the Faculty of Sciences, providing strategic direction to enhance the quality of education, overseeing curriculum development, faculty enrichment and student affairs. Dr. Jude promotes research initiatives and interdisciplinary collaborations within the faculty to foster innovation and academic excellence.
