Eligibility Criteria & Application Process
Academic Qualifications
A prospective candidate must possess any of the following qualifications. Admission to a particular discipline in which PhD programme is offered would require the candidate to have completed the eligibility degree in the sought discipline or an allied discipline.
- Master's Degree (2-year): with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA
- Master's Degree (1-year): with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA
- 4-year Bachelor's Degree (Honours with Research): with a minimum of 75% marks or an equivalent CGPA
- MPhil Degree: with a minimum of 55% marks
- Professional Qualifications: CA/CMA/CS or a professional qualification deemed equivalent to a Master’s degree by the UGC (applicable only for Commerce/Management disciplines)
- Foreign Degrees: Qualifications equivalent to a Master’s Programme in India (with AIU recognition)
Relaxation of Marks for Reserved Categories
SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), Differently-Abled and EWS category candidates are eligible for 5% relaxation in overall marks cut-off requirement
