Bengaluru, August 19, 2025 – Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI), a leading national forum of communication professionals, to strengthen academic-industry collaboration in the fields of public relations, media, and communication. The MoU aims to foster academic collaboration, knowledge exchange, and capacity building through initiatives such as national and regional events, expert lectures, faculty development programmes, research collaborations, internships, and mentorship opportunities. Students and faculty of Kristu Jayanti University will also gain access to PRCI’s flagship initiatives, including the PRCI Chanakya Awards, PRAXIS, and the Young Communicators Club (YCC). The agreement was signed by Prof. Aloysius Edward, Registrar, Kristu Jayanti University, and Ms. Chinmayee Praveen, National President, YCC-PRCI, in the presence of Fr. Emmanuel P.J., Director, Kristu Jayanti College of Law and Director, Office of Global Networking and Collaborations; Dr. Gopakumar A.V., Dean, School of Humanities and Social Sciences; Dr. Loyola Thomas, Associate Director, Office of Global Networking and Collaborations; Mr. Aby Augustine, Head, Department of Media Studies; Shri M.B. Jayaram, Chief Emeritus, Founder and Mentor, PRCI; and Ms. Geetha Shankar, National President, PRCI.
Strengthening its commitment to practice-oriented learning and industry integration, Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Arena Animation, Bengaluru on August 13, 2025 . The collaboration aims to advance joint initiatives in training, research, and knowledge sharing in the fields of animation, multimedia, and visual communication.
The MoU was signed by Dr Aloysius Edward , Registrar, Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University), and Mr Kumar Margalingam, Arena Animation, in the presence of Rev. Fr. Emmanuel PJ, Director, Kristu Jayanti College of Law and Office of Global Networking and Collaborations; Dr Gopakumar AV, Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences; and Mr Aby Augustine, Head, Department of Media Studies.
The agreement formalises a comprehensive framework for collaboration, encompassing specialized training programmes, interactive workshops, facility visits, and research-driven projects, ensuring structured implementation to benefit students and faculty from both institutions.
