Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws [B.A. LL.B. (Honours)], approved by the Bar Council of India, is a 5-year integrated law degree programme comprising 10 semesters and incorporating foundational learning in the humanities and social sciences, to contextualize history, legal systems and justice delivery. The 5-year programme provides a balanced blend of theoretical knowledge and practical exposure through moot courts, internships, case analysis, and legal research. The curriculum is formulated to train graduates in critical and analytical thinking, advocacy, legal writing, and ethical practice, positioning them for a wide range of careers in litigation and judicial services, corporate law, public policy formation or academia among others. The B.A. LL.B. programme intends to produce versatile lawyers who will be able to tackle complex legal and social challenges with sound analysis, integrity with a multidisciplinary approach.
Eligibility
Candidates who have completed Higher Secondary (10+2 / PUC) or Equivalent with an aggregate of 40% or an equivalent CGPA are eligible.
