Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws [B.Com. LL. B. (Honours)], approved by the Bar Council of India, offers to the students a unique integrated undergraduate programme comprising 10 semesters, encompassing the disciplines of commerce and law, enabling students to develop a robust grasp of financial, business and regulatory environments alongside legal reasoning and advocacy, which will suit the contemporary areas of commercial law, corporate finance, business regulations etc., at par with international standards. The curriculum emphasizes on practical learning by way of moot courts, internships, legal drafting, research-based work and case studies. The programme equips students to develop strong negotiation skills, analytical abilities for legal business concerns, compliance issues, communication technique, etc. The B.Com. LL.B. programme equips the graduates with the skills required for matching pace with varied types of professional roles namely corporate lawyering, legal advisor, legal tax consultant, company secretary, banking and finance or judicial services, thus providing a competitive benefit at the interface of commerce and law in today’s complex business-regulatory environment.
Eligibility
Candidates who have completed Higher Secondary (10+2 / PUC) or Equivalent with an aggregate of 40% or an equivalent CGPA are eligible.
