The interaction with Mr. Vivek Menon, Senior Data Science Consultant at Blue Yonder, helped students understand the practical applications of AI, emerging career pathways, and the importance of continuous learning and industry readiness in this evolving domain.


Implementation on Gen AI and Agentic AI

The expert lecture on “Implementation on Gen AI and Agentic AI” introduced students to the emerging capabilities of Generative AI and Agentic AI and their practical implementation in real-world applications. The session explored how AI systems can generate content, automate tasks, make decisions, and work autonomously to accomplish specific objectives. Through industry-oriented insights shared by Mr. Vivek Menon, Senior Data Science Consultant at Blue Yonder, students gained a better understanding of the technologies, applications, and future potential of Gen AI and Agentic AI.


Expert Talk on “Information Meets Quantum Physics – From Shannon’s Bit to the Quantum Qubit”

The Department of Computational Studies (UG), Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University), under the School of Computer Science and Physical Sciences, successfully organized an Expert Talk on “Information Meets Quantum Physics – From Shannon’s Bit to the Quantum Qubit” was organized in hybrid mode, 1st BCA students of Quantum Computing and Block chain Technology were attended by 43 students offline and 215 students online from Stella Maris College and PSGR Krishnammal College for Women, both CHIRD institutions. The session featured Dr. Ushadevi AR, Senior Professor, Department of Physics, Bangalore University, as the resource person. The expert session introduced students to the fundamentals of quantum computing, with a focus on qubits, quantum entanglement, and quantum information processing, while also exploring the convergence of quantum technologies with Artificial Intelligence. And highlighted the emerging applications of quantum computing in key domains such as healthcare, finance, cybersecurity, and scientific research. She also discussed recent advancements in the field, the challenges involved in developing quantum technologies, and the promising career opportunities emerging in this rapidly evolving domain. The event was scheduled on Friday, 14th August 2026, at 10:30AM in the M2 Auditorium, 2nd Floor. All students of I year BCA Quantum Computing and Block chain Technology were encouraged to develop communication skills, personal values, and a growth mindset.


Briefing Session on future Skills Prime Digital Engineering

Students gained clarity on the scope, applications, and industry relevance of digital engineering and its growing career opportunities. The session emphasized adaptability, innovation, problem-solving, and communication as essential employability skills for the digital era. Students were introduced to NASSCOM’s Future Skills Prime framework, helping them understand the connection between academic learning and evolving industry requirements. The orientation reinforced the importance of digital skills and career readiness in emerging domains such as Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Cloud Computing, while encouraging collaboration and active participation.


Expert Talk on Quantum AI With CIRQ

The Department of Computational Studies (UG), Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University), under the School of Computer Science and Physical Sciences, successfully organized Expert Talk on QUANTUM AI with CIRQ, for the students of BCA-Quantum and Blockchain. This event was aimed to introduce students to the fundamentals of Quantum and its real-world applications in a simple and practical manner. The session was delivered by Dr. Ratnakirti Roy, Portfolio (Professional Member of IEEE), Real-life examples and practical scenarios were shared, making the session highly relatable and interactive. Students gained an understanding of how Quantum is used by organizations to solve problems and improve performance, along with the career opportunities available in this field.

QUANTUM AI aims to create a platform for students to explore through workshops, seminars, and interactive activities, helping them build industry-relevant skills beyond the classroom. The event was scheduled on Wednesday, 05 August 2026, at 1:50PM in the M4 Lab, 3rd Floor. All students of I year BCA Quantum Computing and Blockchain Technology. were encouraged to develop communication skills, personal values, and a growth mindset.
