B.Sc Forensic Science and Criminology
The B.Sc. Forensic Science and Criminology interdisciplinary programme offers a unique and dynamic blend of two deeply interconnected domains: Forensic Science and Criminology. Designed for curious students with a passion for investigative science, the course provides a rigorous academic foundation while nurturing analytical thinking, ethical decision-making, and scientific precision.
Forensic Science: Develop expertise in crime scene analysis, fingerprinting, forensic toxicology, ballistics, and serological analysis. Students gain hands-on experience with modern forensic technologies and lab methodologies essential for real-world investigations.
Criminology: Explore the psychology, sociology and legal aspects of crime. The criminology major fosters a critical understanding of criminal behaviour, justice systems, penology, and crime prevention strategies.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates who have completed Higher Secondary (10+2 / PUC) or Equivalent with an aggregate of 40% or an equivalent CGPA and have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and/or Biology are eligible
