Kryptos 2025 - Forensic Science Exhibition

Kristu Jayanti College, Bengaluru, hosted *Kryptos 2025*, its annual forensic science exhibition, on 28th January 2025, showcasing remarkable student innovations in forensic science. Organized by the Department of Forensic Science, the event featured 102 unique models spanning 19 forensic sub-domains, demonstrating cutting-edge research and practical applications. The exhibition was inaugurated by Mr. Mohammad Ali Imran, Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) of Pulikeshi Nagara Police Station, East Division, Bengaluru, and Father Deepu Joy, Director of the Student Welfare Office. The Chief Guest commended the students for their creativity and dedication, highlighting forensic science’s critical role in modern law enforcement.

Drawing over 400 visitors, including students from 10 schools and colleges, *Kryptos 2025* received widespread appreciation for its interactive and insightful exhibits. The students’ enthusiasm and innovative problem-solving impressed faculty members and attendees’ alike, reinforcing Kristu Jayanti College’s commitment to academic excellence and experiential learning in forensic science. The event’s success further emphasized its role in fostering awareness and engagement in forensic education, strengthening its reputation as a significant platform for aspiring forensic professionals.

Kryptos – Forensic Science Exhibition

Kryptos the forensic science exhibition was organized by the department of forensic science, Kristu Jayanti College on 20th February 2024. The exhibition garnered a lot of interest among students of the department and among nearby institutions.

Major Saurabh Srivastava, Director (South Asia), Crisis and Security Consulting, Bengaluru, inaugurated the event along with Fr. Dr. Augustine George, Principal, Kristu Jayanti College. During the inauguration the presidential address was delivered by Fr. Augustine George who stressed on the need for such events to improve the skill sets of students and he applauded the students and teachers of the department for the effort in organizing the exhibition.

The inaugural address was delivered by Major Saurabh Srivastava, Director (South Asia), Crisis and Security Consulting, Bengaluru, who explained the need for exhibitions and how these events help in developing the psycho-motor skills and the experiential skills among students. He also exhorted the students to never stop learning and to keep the mindset of challenging defiance in times of uncertainty.

A total of 105 chart posters, digitally created infographic posters, static models, and dynamic models were created by the students, and teachers of the department. A total of 11 institutions visited the exhibition during the day and gave very positive feedback.

Dr. Hemalata M, Principal, Dr. MR Ambedkar Dental College, Bangalore inaugurated the event along with Fr. Dr. Augustine George, Principal, Kristu Jayanti college. During the inauguration the presidential address was delivered by Fr.
