B.Sc. Animation and Game Design
Overview
The Bachelor of Science in Animation & Game Design is a 4-year honours programme that offers a dynamic and future-ready pathway combining creativity with advanced digital technologies. Students build strong foundations in visual storytelling, concept art, character design, 2D and 3D animation, game mechanics, and immersive world-building. The curriculum blends artistic development with technical training, enabling learners to work confidently with industry-standard tools and production pipelines. Beyond entertainment, the programme emphasises the expanding role of animation and game design in education, simulation, advertising, architecture, and interactive media. With a focus on hands-on projects, teamwork, and problem-solving, students learn to transform ideas into engaging digital experiences. Continuous exposure to real-world workflows, production challenges, and emerging technologies such as AR and VR ensures that graduates are adaptable, industry-ready, and prepared for careers in animation studios, game development companies, multimedia production houses, and other creative sectors.
The B.Sc. Programme is a four-year degree programme, wherein a student, after successful completion, will be awarded an Honours degree. However, a student has the option to exit the programme after successful completion of the first three years. In such a case, the student will be awarded a Bachelor’s degree.
Eligibility
Candidates who have completed Higher Secondary (10+2 / PUC) or Equivalent with an aggregate of 40% or an equivalent CGPA are eligible.
