The 13th session of vichaarmanthan -An interaction with Indian and global visionaries took place on 4th may, 2013 at Kristu Jayati College. The session organised by the department of management studies began at 10 am in the BKE auditorium.

The program was invoked by prayer song by the college coir. The chief guest of the day was welcomed by Dr.Vijaya Bhaskaran, faculty dept of management studies. The inauguration of sargotsav '13 - pg cultural fest took place during the went being inaugurated by Dr. Debashis Chatterjee , guest of honour, Rev. Fr. Sebastian T.A. , principal, Fr. Jose P.J. financial administrator Fr. Augustine ,HOD dept of computer science.

The chief guest was introduced by Jayson Joy, student coordinator. Dr. Debashis Chatterjee, the director of IIM Kozhikode took over the session.

His main topic of discussion was based on "Timeless Leadership" on which Prof. Recently wrote a book. He began his session by asking why you think people must follow you. Is it because of looks, mental ability etc but not only based on theories. According to him life can be seen as 2 simultaneous equations where the 1st one says how you can be happy with the little less you have and the other one how you can retain happiness with the more you have.

Next his speech emphasised on 3P's which according to him would be followed in life to attain success. The 3P's were the following:
* Purpose - It leads a deep questioning of why like why I am doing this, why I have to reach my goals. Purpose alters the functions of our activities.
* Possibility - It is about imagining, aspiring.
* Productivity – It's on the discriminating mind, where mind is unleashed.

The session went on with Prof.Chatterjee sharing his own experiences and stories which were inspiring to the young minds. The whole session was soft but highly motivating. He ended his speech by asking the audience to reach heights through hard work and inspired by giving his life example of how he became what he is now.

Later the session was open to the forum. Queries and doubts were raised by the listeners which were answered fruitfully.

The session ended by expressing gratitude to the chief guest, the vote of thanks was delivered by Miss.Marushka, student co-ordinator. Thereafter the events for sargotsav '13 began in their respective venues.
