The National Jayantian Alumni Entrepreneurs Conclave 2026 was meticulously organized, beginning with a grand inaugural ceremony on March 26, 2026, which set a formal and inspiring tone for the entire event. The inauguration was led by Dr. Aloysius Edward, Registrar of Kristu Jayanti University, in the presence of esteemed dignitaries including Dr. N. Sapna Lulla, Lead Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Sparsh Hospital, and Mr. Deveraj, AGM of Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation. Their presence added significance to the occasion and motivated participants. This was followed by the awarding ceremony and a photo session, after which the JAE Carnival (Expo) was officially inaugurated by Fr. Dr. Augustine George along with other guests, providing a vibrant platform for entrepreneurs to exhibit their ideas and ventures. A key highlight of the day was the panel discussion moderated by Dr. Linu Abraham Jacob, featuring distinguished panelists such as Mr. Dinesh K (Founder), Mr. Babu Koshy (Director of Operations, SSA), Zubzir Pradhan (Founder, Ace Compere & Career Maker), Ravi (Chartered Accountant), and a representative associated with Cockpit Vista as Chief Investigation Officer (AI Crash). On March 27, 2026, the conclave continued with equally engaging and well-organized sessions. The Jayantian Alumni Entrepreneurs Forum of Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University) recently held an inspiring guest lecture titled "Pursuing Dreams with Determination and Grit," featuring Mr. Jose Tony, founder of God’s Grace Wedding and Party Planners and CEO of Cyber Guard. The event attracted a large gathering of esteemed faculty, staff, and students eager to gain insights into Mr. Tony's entrepreneurial journey, marked by resilience, adaptability, and an unwavering commitment to his vision.
Mr. Tony shared personal anecdotes about his early days as an entrepreneur, emphasizing the importance of pushing past fears and challenges to reach one’s goals. Success is rarely immediate but with determination, any dream is achievable.” He discussed the essential role of adaptability in business, recounting how unexpected setbacks became opportunities for growth and innovation.
Drawing on his experience as CEO of Cyber Guard, Mr. Tony highlighted the rapid evolution of the tech industry and how he navigated the constantly shifting landscape by continuously upskilling himself. He encouraged students to embrace continuous learning to stay relevant and competitive.

On 21st October 2024, Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, had the distinct honour of hosting the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), in association with the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, for the People’s Education Programme. The event started with an inaugural session at 10:30 a.m. in A3 Auditorium and was organized by the Jayantian Alumni Entrepreneurs Forum, and witnessed the participation of esteemed dignitaries and experts from KVIC.
The program was graced by notable personalities, including Shri Lalitkumar Shah, Honourable Expert Member of KVIC, Dr. E. Mohan Rao, State Director, KVIC Bengaluru, Shri L. Madan Kumar Reddy, Deputy CEO KVIC Zonal Office (South Zone); and Shri M. Lingadurai, Assistant Director-II, State Office, KVIC, Bengaluru. The event commenced on a high note with a soulful rendition by the Kristu Jayanti Choir, setting a vibrant and positive tone for the day. This was followed by a welcome address delivered by Dr. Lourdunathan, during which Fr. Lijo P. Thomas, Vice-Principal of Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University), presented the Chief Guests with saplings as a symbol of growth and sustainability. He discussed how the colonial period had suppressed Khadi craftsmanship, and how the KVIC, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Make in India' initiative, is reviving these traditional industries. He also proudly mentioned that during the G20 Summit, Khadi shawls were presented to the distinguished guests, symbolizing the global recognition of this Indian legacy.
In recognition of their contributions, the Chief Guests were honoured with mementos and Khadi products handcrafted by skilled artisans. Expert Talk Titled Potential of Youngsters in Family Business

Mr. Hitesh Adwani started the session by motivating students towards entrepreneurship and encouraged them to focus more on the improvement of our traditions in the business. The opportunities in the family business was listed out by him. He also shared his experiences about his family business, and he pointed out the challenges he faced after taking over the business. The strategies he suggested to uplift the business were inspiring to the young budding entrepreneurs. The lecture also helped the students in understanding the importance of taking responsibilities during hard times. He emphasized the point that entrepreneurship is not only about risk taking ability but parallel to take the responsibilities. Students are interesting to listen to the discussion and enthusiastically asking the questions to enrich their knowledge.

The conference was inaugurated by Mr. Monish R. Srinivasan, Chief Executive Officer, Sri Venkateshwara Group, Telangana, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his inaugural address, he highlighted the remarkable growth of India's entrepreneurial ecosystem, emphasizing the significant role played by progressive government initiatives, increasing investor confidence, technological innovation, and the emergence of startup-driven enterprises. He encouraged young entrepreneurs to embrace innovation, develop scalable business models, and contribute to the nation's economic transformation.
The welcome address was delivered by Dr. Mathiyarasan M., Conference Convener and Director of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Centre. The Jayantian Alumni Entrepreneurs Forum (JAEF) organized an Orientation on Entrepreneurship Development on 29 September 2022 to inspire students to explore entrepreneurship as a promising career path and to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset among the young learners.
The resource person, Dr. Mathiyarasan M., delivered an engaging and highly interactive session that encouraged students to think beyond conventional career choices and embrace entrepreneurship as an opportunity to become innovators, leaders, and job creators. Emphasizing the potential of the younger generation, he highlighted that today's youth possess the creativity, technological skills, and determination to transform industries and contribute significantly to the nation's economic growth. He motivated students with the inspiring message that those who aspire to become their own leaders should consider entrepreneurship as a fulfilling and impactful career.
During the session, Dr. Mathiyarasan provided a comprehensive overview of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Centre, explaining its vision, mission, objectives, and the various initiatives undertaken to foster innovation, creativity, startup culture, and entrepreneurial excellence within the institution. He elaborated on the support mechanisms available to aspiring entrepreneurs, including mentoring, innovation programmes, skill development initiatives, and opportunities for startup incubation.

The Jayantian Alumni Entrepreneurs Forum (JAEF) organized an Expert Talk on "Transformation of Family Business" on 24 September 2022 with the objective of inspiring students to explore entrepreneurship as a rewarding career and to understand the opportunities and challenges involved in transforming traditional family businesses into modern, sustainable enterprises.
The session commenced with an address by Ms. Shazia Shaikh, who motivated students to reflect on their career aspirations by encouraging them to consider the possibilities of becoming entrepreneurs rather than limiting themselves to conventional employment. She emphasized the importance of entrepreneurial thinking, innovation, and leadership in creating value through family-owned businesses. Her interaction encouraged students to recognize entrepreneurship as a pathway to personal growth, business sustainability, and economic development.
