National Jayantian Alumni Entrepreneurs Conclave2026

The National Jayantian Alumni Entrepreneurs Conclave 2026 was meticulously organized, beginning with a grand inaugural ceremony on March 26, 2026, which set a formal and inspiring tone for the entire event. The inauguration was led by Dr. Aloysius Edward, Registrar of Kristu Jayanti University, in the presence of esteemed dignitaries including Dr. N. Sapna Lulla, Lead Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Sparsh Hospital, and Mr. Deveraj, AGM of Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation. Their presence added significance to the occasion and motivated participants. This was followed by the awarding ceremony and a photo session, after which the JAE Carnival (Expo) was officially inaugurated by Fr. Dr. Augustine George along with other guests, providing a vibrant platform for entrepreneurs to exhibit their ideas and ventures. A key highlight of the day was the panel discussion moderated by Dr. Linu Abraham Jacob, featuring distinguished panelists such as Mr. Dinesh K (Founder), Mr. Babu Koshy (Director of Operations, SSA), Zubzir Pradhan (Founder, Ace Compere & Career Maker), Ravi (Chartered Accountant), and a representative associated with Cockpit Vista as Chief Investigation Officer (AI Crash). The discussion offered valuable insights into entrepreneurship, challenges, and emerging opportunities.

On March 27, 2026, the conclave continued with equally engaging and well-organized sessions. The day began with the startup pitching session, where budding entrepreneurs presented their innovative ideas before notable guests Mr. Nivin Joseph and Ms. Mansi Baheti from Draper Startup House, who brought industry perspective and encouragement to the participants. This session served as an important platform for showcasing innovation and receiving expert feedback. It was followed by a dedicated networking session, which allowed participants, alumni, and industry experts to interact, exchange ideas, and explore potential collaborations. The programme concluded with a closing ceremony and lunch, successfully wrapping up the two-day conclave. Overall, the event was executed in a highly structured and professional manner, with the active involvement of all chief guests contributing to its success and impact.

Bridging Education and Entrepreneurship by Jayantian Alumni Entrepreneurs

The Jayantian Alumni Entrepreneurs Forum (JAEF) of Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University) successfully organized a Panel Discussion titled “Bridging Education and Entrepreneurship by Jayantian Alumni Entrepreneurs” on 23rd January 2026 at 10:00 AM in the A3 Auditorium, Administrative Block.

The programme aimed to connect academic learning with real-world entrepreneurial practice by offering students first-hand insights from accomplished alumni entrepreneurs. The panel featured Ms. Nandini Nagaraj (Serial Entrepreneur, Batch 2012–2015), Ms. Neethu Vellara (Director, Ebenezer Group of Institutions, Batch 2011–2013), Ms. Shirley Mercy Shalom (GRC Engineer, Joyson Safety Systems, Batch 2013–2016), and Mr. Udaya Prakash (Biotechnologist, Batch 2023–2025). The session was moderated by Mr. Jayachandra (Entrepreneur, Batch 2010–2012).

The discussion highlighted resilience, leadership, innovation, governance, and the importance of academic foundations in shaping entrepreneurial journeys. Students actively engaged with the panellists on topics such as startup challenges, funding, incubation, and career transitions.

The event was held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at M3 Auditorium, Main Block. The distinguished resource person for the session was Mr. Sandeep Titus, Managing Director, Novadaya Foods, and a proud alumnus of Kristu Jayanti College. The session aimed to motivate and guide students toward entrepreneurial thinking and innovation-driven careers. Mr. Sandeep Titus shared his entrepreneurial journey, highlighting the challenges and opportunities in the food industry. He emphasized the importance of perseverance, creativity, and adaptability in the path to success. Jayantian Alumni Entrepreneurs Summit 2025: A Grand Confluence of Innovation and Leadership

The summit, organized by the Jayantian Alumni Entrepreneurs Forum, served as a platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and celebrating entrepreneurial success.

The event commenced with an Invocation, setting a solemn and enthusiastic tone for the day. This was followed by a Welcome Address delivered by Dr. Lourdunathan F, Coordinator of the Jayantian Alumni Entrepreneurs Forum, who emphasized the importance of alumni engagement in shaping the future of budding entrepreneurs.The ceremonial Lighting of the Lamp symbolized the enlightenment and wisdom that entrepreneurship brings to society.

In his Presidential Address, Fr. Dr. Augustine George, Principal of Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University), highlighted the significance of fostering an entrepreneurial ecosystem within the institution. He emphasized the college's commitment to nurturing future business leaders.Dr. Prathap G, Convener of JAE Summit 2025, then presented the JAE Summit 2025 Prelude, setting the stage for an engaging and insightful session ahead.

The keynote Inaugural Address was delivered by Mr. Paul Moses Rajan, Co-founder of Wellspring Consultancy, Yitro Global, and Yitro Tech. He shared his entrepreneurial journey and provided valuable insights into navigating the challenges of the business world, inspiring attendees to pursue their dreams with perseverance and innovation.

The Felicitation Ceremony, led by Fr. Dr. Augustine George, was a moment of recognition and appreciation for the contributions of alumni entrepreneurs who have made remarkable strides in their respective fields.The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Dr. D.N.P. Guest Lecture on "Pursuing Dreams with Determination and Grit"

The Jayantian Alumni Entrepreneurs Forum of Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University) recently held an inspiring guest lecture titled "Pursuing Dreams with Determination and Grit," featuring Mr. Jose Tony, founder of God’s Grace Wedding and Party Planners and CEO of Cyber Guard. The event attracted a large gathering of esteemed faculty, staff, and students eager to gain insights into Mr. Tony's entrepreneurial journey, marked by resilience, adaptability, and an unwavering commitment to his vision.

Mr. Tony shared personal anecdotes about his early days as an entrepreneur, emphasizing the importance of pushing past fears and challenges to reach one’s goals. Success is rarely immediate but with determination, any dream is achievable.” He discussed the essential role of adaptability in business, recounting how unexpected setbacks became opportunities for growth and innovation.

Drawing on his experience as CEO of Cyber Guard, Mr. Tony highlighted the rapid evolution of the tech industry and how he navigated the constantly shifting landscape by continuously upskilling himself. He encouraged students to embrace continuous learning to stay relevant and competitive.

He also addressed the significance of ethics and integrity, explaining how building trust with clients and maintaining high standards were instrumental in his success. Mr. Tony urged students to focus not only on achieving their dreams but also on giving back to their communities, sharing that philanthropy and social responsibility were core values at both his companies.

Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University) Hosts KVIC's ‘People’s Education Programme’ to Promote Khadi and Entrepreneurship

On 21st October 2024, Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, had the distinct honour of hosting the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), in association with the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, for the People’s Education Programme. The event started with an inaugural session at 10:30 a.m. in A3 Auditorium and was organized by the Jayantian Alumni Entrepreneurs Forum, and witnessed the participation of esteemed dignitaries and experts from KVIC.

The program was graced by notable personalities, including Shri Lalitkumar Shah, Honourable Expert Member of KVIC, Dr. E. Mohan Rao, State Director, KVIC Bengaluru, Shri L. Madan Kumar Reddy, Deputy CEO KVIC Zonal Office (South Zone); and Shri M. Lingadurai, Assistant Director-II, State Office, KVIC, Bengaluru. The event commenced on a high note with a soulful rendition by the Kristu Jayanti Choir, setting a vibrant and positive tone for the day. This was followed by a welcome address delivered by Dr. Lourdunathan, during which Fr. Lijo P. Thomas, Vice-Principal of Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University), presented the Chief Guests with saplings as a symbol of growth and sustainability. The dignitaries then participated in the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, alongside Fr. Lijo P. Thomas, Dr. Lourdunathan, and the student coordinator, symbolizing the inauguration of the program.

He emphasized the role of the KVIC in promoting sustainable and indigenous entrepreneurship, reflecting on its relevance to India’s socio-economic development. The Inaugural Address was delivered by Dr. E. Mohan Rao, who elaborated on the various initiatives and services offered by KVIC. He discussed the impact of these programs on empowering rural artisans and entrepreneurs and outlined new products and services that can uplift communities across India.

The event's keynote speaker, Shri Lalitkumar Shah, addressed the audience in Hindi, passionately sharing his experiences with the Khadi industry. He discussed how the colonial period had suppressed Khadi craftsmanship, and how the KVIC, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Make in India' initiative, is reviving these traditional industries. He also proudly mentioned that during the G20 Summit, Khadi shawls were presented to the distinguished guests, symbolizing the global recognition of this Indian legacy.

In recognition of their contributions, the Chief Guests were honoured with mementos and Khadi products handcrafted by skilled artisans. The gesture reflected the college’s appreciation for their efforts in promoting Khadi and small-scale industries. The program also included feedback sessions, where a student, teacher, and prestigious member of KVIC shared their insights on the significance of KVIC’s work and the quality of Khadi products. Additionally, the winners of the Debate and Essay Writing Competition were felicitated with prizes, celebrating their intellectual contributions to the event.

‘The People’s Education Programme’ proved to be an informative and inspiring event. It motivated students to embrace entrepreneurship, underscoring the potential of successful collaborations with KVIC. Entrepreneurship skills, attitude and Behavior Development

Seminar on Entrepreneurship skills, attitude and Behavior Development was organised on 25th January 2024, in the Conference Hall at 3 p.m. Mr. S. Manikandan, ex-coach for the Indian Paralympic Association for the category of Intellectual disability and founder and coach Signature Sports and Games Club, Bengaluru was invited as a chief guest. The programme started with the silent prayer. He motivated students to discover their interests and talents, drawing on his own college experiences where supportive teachers guided him to pursue his passion for sports. He emphasized leveraging opportunities, overcoming challenges, and efficient time management. Providing insights on branding talents for entrepreneurship, he addressed hardships as motivational triggers and advised on handling publicity strategically. Stressing the significance of optimism and perseverance, he shared personal anecdotes to illustrate these principles. During the session, Mr. Prem Kumar KS motivated students to discover their interests and talents, drawing on his own college experiences where supportive teachers guided him to pursue his passion for dance alongside academics. He emphasized leveraging opportunities, overcoming challenges, and efficient time management. Expert Talk Titled Potential of Youngsters in Family Business

Mr. Hitesh Adwani started the session by motivating students towards entrepreneurship and encouraged them to focus more on the improvement of our traditions in the business. The opportunities in the family business was listed out by him. He also shared his experiences about his family business, and he pointed out the challenges he faced after taking over the business. The strategies he suggested to uplift the business were inspiring to the young budding entrepreneurs. The lecture also helped the students in understanding the importance of taking responsibilities during hard times. He emphasized the point that entrepreneurship is not only about risk taking ability but parallel to take the responsibilities. Students are interesting to listen to the discussion and enthusiastically asking the questions to enrich their knowledge.

National Conference on Growing Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in India (GEESI) 2023

The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Centre of Kristu Jayanti College (Autonomous), Bengaluru, successfully organized the National Conference on "Growing Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in India (GEESI) 2023" on 3 March 2023. The one-day conference served as a dynamic platform for academicians, entrepreneurs, industry leaders, researchers, startup founders, and students to deliberate on the evolving entrepreneurial landscape in India and explore strategies for fostering innovation, startup growth, and sustainable business development.

The conference was inaugurated by Mr. Monish R. Srinivasan, Chief Executive Officer, Sri Venkateshwara Group, Telangana, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his inaugural address, he highlighted the remarkable growth of India's entrepreneurial ecosystem, emphasizing the significant role played by progressive government initiatives, increasing investor confidence, technological innovation, and the emergence of startup-driven enterprises. He encouraged young entrepreneurs to embrace innovation, develop scalable business models, and contribute to the nation's economic transformation.

The welcome address was delivered by Dr. Mathiyarasan M., Conference Convener and Director of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Centre. He emphasized the rapid expansion of India's startup ecosystem, driven by a vibrant entrepreneurial culture, supportive government policies, growing venture capital investments, and increasing opportunities for innovation-led enterprises. He underscored the importance of cultivating entrepreneurial competencies among students to prepare them for the evolving global business environment.
