Campus Placements 2025 – Department of Computer Science
The Department of Computer Science, Kristu Jayanti University, proudly announces the remarkable success of its students in the Campus Recruitment Drive 2025. Students from the BCA and B.Sc. Data Science programmes have secured placements in leading multinational corporations and reputed organizations, reflecting their technical excellence, adaptability, and industry readiness.
From the BCA programme, several students were recruited by Verizon, including Kaippully Febin Philips, Pranav Raj, Vishal Chawla, and Indradhanush J. Microland offered positions to Reynold R Varghese, J Hethey Shrini, Adarsh Raj, Prashant Pandey, Spoorthi VS, Niya Joshi, and Melvin John Kurian. At SAP Labs, students such as Jerome Wilson, Vijay Lakshmi S, Bhadarage Kasturi, V Meenakshi Iyer, Fasi Ahmed Khan J R, and Vanshika Thavnani earned prestigious roles. Cognizant emerged as one of the largest recruiters, selecting Adarsh Raj, Prashant Pandey, Abhishek Kumar Jha, Vanshita Sharma, Abhijith S, Sukriti Singh, Margaret Priya D, Sayana Das, Keerthana R, Amreen, I Mohammed Masiullah, Martin Purification, Pratikhya Padhi, Blessy V, Shriram BS, and Nurain AL Miyaadh. Federal Bank also extended offers to Shriram BS and J Dessilla Soundharya.
Other notable recruiters included CDW, which hired Anirudh Krishnaprasad, Ajins G Puthooran, and L. Teena Xavier; Condé Nast, which selected Belina Jewell C, Gagana Sindhu R.M, Christy D, and Lakshmi B; Target, which offered a role to Samriddhi Kashyap; and IQVIA, which recruited Priya Singh and Anjali Yadav. A significant number of students also joined HCLTech, including Abhishri Pathak, Fakruddin Ahmed, Guddi, Jay Deepika D, Priyanshu Agarwal, Raneen Nazir, Sadhana S, Sakkha Josephine, V Eshwar, Faustina Jenny Mathews, Hajira Sait, Priyanka S, A Diana Princy, Jisha J, Mayank Kapoor, and Manoj Kumar V. Additionally, Joyel James P was placed with City Union Bank.
The B.Sc. Data Science programme also recorded excellent placements. Austin Joby and Rajeev D were recruited by Cognizant, Lois Antony was placed with TresVista, and Joshua Wilson Paul S S joined HCLTech.
This successful placement season stands as a testament to the academic rigor, practical exposure, and professional training imparted by the Department of Computer Science. Placement Orientation and Training Program

Department of Computer Science (UG) organised a Placement Orientation & Training Programme (POTP) for final year BCA and BSc Data Science Students. The event is conducted in collaboration with the Centre for Employability and Corporate Relations (CECR), aimed to prepare students for the upcoming placement season. Prof. Sen B. Matthews, Director, CECR, led the session by providing valuable insights into the placement process and expectations. Sir briefly explained about the placement process and it begins with pre-placement preparation, including workshops and training on resume building, interview skills, and aptitude tests. This is followed by pre-placement talk from eminent companies, where students learn about job roles and expectations. Then interested candidates can register and undergo various selection stages, such as aptitude tests, technical and HR interviews and group discussions to evaluate their skills and suitability. The entire process aims to prepare students for the job market and facilitate smooth transitions from academia to employment.
orientation session on "Event Horizon"

The "Event Horizon" orientation session, organized by final-year BCA General and IOT students, was held under the guidance of Dr. Yashoda M. B. and Dr. Sudharsan M. The event was strategically divided into two sessions to accommodate both second year and first-year students. Its primary goal was to familiarize newcomers with the range of fests, departmental activities, and key college events for the academic year. By drawing on the previous year's achievements, the orientation emphasized the significance of engaging in both technical and non-technical clubs and highlighted the array of major events such as KJMUN, Nrityanjali, Woodrock, Euphonia, Annual Day, Teacher's Day, and Ethnic Day. A major highlight was the segment dedicated to the forthcoming 'Synchronize IT Fest 2k24,' which aimed to stir excitement and involvement. The session successfully provided essential information, addressed student queries, and fostered a sense of anticipation and confidence among the attendees. It effectively motivated students to actively participate in and contribute to the vibrant academic and extracurricular life at Kristu Jayanti College.
