WiCyS (Women in Cybersecurity) Student Chapter – Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University) is part of the global WiCyS community dedicated to advancing the role of women in the field of cybersecurity. The chapter provides a collaborative platform for students to engage in knowledge sharing, skill development, mentorship, and networking opportunities.
A key initiative of the chapter is its mentorship programme, where students (mentees) are guided by experienced industry professionals (mentors). This program bridges academic learning with industry expertise, offering students valuable insights, career guidance, and exposure to real-world cybersecurity practices.
Through seminars, workshops, competitions, and outreach programs, the WiCyS Student Chapter aims to empower students to explore cybersecurity, foster inclusivity, and inspire the next generation of cybersecurity professionals. The chapter envisions creating a supportive community that nurtures leadership, innovation, and ethical responsibility in the digital era.
