Master of Social Work
The Master of Social Work (MSW) is offered as a two-year full-time (four semesters) programme that is aimed at creating excellent Social Work professionals with competency in a multi-disciplinary approach and ready for employment at national and international levels. The curriculum consists of theoretical inputs, observation visits, concurrent field work placements, a research project and block placement. Additionally, special emphasis is given to experiential learning.
The programme is offered with three specialisations, which are as follows:

- Medical and Psychiatric Social Work
Eligibility for Admission
Candidates with any Bachelor’s degree and with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST candidates) from a recognised University are eligible.
