Alumni Interaction Series: Data Analytics Beyond Textbooks

Kristu Jayanti Institute of Technology (KJIT), under Kristu Jayanti University, Bengaluru, successfully organized an Alumni Interaction Series on the topic “Data Analytics Beyond Textbooks” on 7th February 2026 at 11:00 AM in the SKE Auditorium, PG Block.

The session was delivered by Mr. Anirudh U, an alumnus of the M.Sc. Data Science (2023–2025) batch and currently working as an Associate Data Analyst at Omnify, Bengaluru. The program was attended by II and IV semester MCA, M.Sc. Data Science, and Computer Science students.

During the interaction, the speaker shared valuable insights on how data analytics is applied in real-world industry scenarios beyond academic concepts. He discussed essential skills, tools, industry expectations, project experiences, and career guidance, bridging the gap between classroom learning and practical application. The session was highly interactive, with students actively engaging through questions and discussions.

The event proved to be informative and motivating, helping students gain clarity about industry trends and career pathways in data analytics. Overall, the alumni interaction was a great success and was well appreciated by both students and faculty members.
