The Department of Computer Science [PG] consistently hosts Faculty Enrichment Activities to foster research and discover innovative methods for continuous knowledge enhancement. Among these initiatives are Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), which gather emerging researchers to share and discuss their latest findings with the global community. In line with this mission, the department organized an International Level FDP from May 16th to 23rd, 2025, themed "Virtual and Augmented Reality," conducted in a virtual format. The FDP was inaugurated by Dr. R Kumar, Head, Department of Computer Science (PG). Dr. R Kumar spoke on the importance of immersive technologies and how these FDPs serve as a platform to explore new dimensions in the field. The FDP spanned for 7 days from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with each resource person highlighting the various applications of Virtual and Augmented Reality to the attendees and engaging with them on emerging trends, tools, and transformative use-cases in this evolving domain.
