Shells 2K26 - National Intercollegiate IT Fest

Shells 2K26 – National Intercollegiate IT Fest began at 09:30 AM with a choir invocation at the SKE Auditorium, organized by the Department of Computer Science (PG), Kristu Jayanti Institute of Technology, Kristu Jayanti University. The dignitaries were welcomed and honoured with saplings as a symbol of growth and prosperity, followed by inspiring addresses that motivated students toward innovation and excellence. Participants were then guided to their respective venues by the volunteers and escort team for smooth coordination. The technical and competitive events were conducted successfully throughout the day. The fest concluded with a valedictory ceremony where winners were announced and awarded vouchers.

Inauguration and Valedictory of Manoeuvre 2025 – Technolysium
Date: 16 September 2025
The Inauguration Ceremony of Manoeuvre 2025 was held on 16th September at 9:30 AM in the SKE Auditorium, beginning with a prayer and lamp lighting. Rev. Fr. Dr. Marialal Joseph, in his Presidential Address, stressed the importance of research and innovation, while Mr. Pushkara R S inspired students with insights on adaptability, design thinking, and resilience. The department newsletter Technolysium was also released on this occasion. The Valedictory Ceremony, held on 16th September at 12:00 Noon, featured an address by Dr. R. Kumar, Dean of the School, who appreciated the efforts of students and faculty while emphasizing teamwork, creativity, and continuous learning. The ceremony concluded with prize distribution, certificate presentation, and acknowledgment of coordinators, marking a memorable closure to Manoeuvre 2025.
Technical Events
- IT Manager – The Eden’s Architect: 39 participants competed, with 4 advancing further.
- Web Designing – Weavers of the Web: 40 participants (10 teams), 4 teams progressed to the finals.
- Coding & Debugging – CodeBug Craftr: 44 participants, 12 qualified for the next round.
- Graphic Designing & Photography – Neo Eden: Visual Voyage: 42 participants, 11 advanced.
- Hackathon – InnoHackX : 10 teams (40 participants), 4 teams advanced.
- Surprise Event – Elysian Cipher: 10 teams (60 participants), 4 teams (24 participants) reached the finale.
- IT Quiz – Mind Matrix: 60 participants (30 teams), 12 teams qualified, and 6 competed in the grand finale.
- Gaming – Survivors of Eden: 16 teams, 8 advanced, with the top 8 competing in the final round.
Non-Technical Events
- Treasure Hunt – Quest of the Lost Land: 50 teams participated, 25 advanced to the finals.
- Short Film – Frames of Life: Teams presented scripts, storyboards, and final short films judged on creativity, storytelling, and execution.
