The Department of Professional Accounting and Finance (DPAF), School of Commerce, Accounting and Finance, Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, successfully organized a Faculty Enrichment Programme titled "From Mines to Diamonds: Digging Deep into the Art and Science of Research" on 25 June 2026 with the aim of enhancing the research competencies of faculty members and fostering a strong research culture within the department led by Dr. Neerupa Chauhan, Assistant Professor. The session provided comprehensive insights into the research process, including identifying research problems, conducting systematic literature reviews, selecting appropriate research methodologies, applying statistical techniques, maintaining publication ethics, and publishing in high-quality journals. The session concluded with an engaging interaction and the participants motivated to contribute more effectively to research excellence, scholarly publications, and the overall academic growth of the institution.

Models to Manuscripts — Structural Equation Modeling for High-Impact Publications
Date: 17 to 22 November 2025
The Department of Professional Accounting and Finance, School of Commerce, Accounting and Finance, organized a Seven-Day Faculty Development Programme titled “Models to Manuscripts: Structural Equation Modeling for High-Impact Publications” from 17th to 22nd November 2025. Dr. Rameshbabu Tamarana led the initial sessions, offering focused training on AMOS, CFA, structural models, and advanced SEM techniques aimed at producing publication-ready research.
The final two days were facilitated by Dr. Neerupa Chauhan, who provided hands-on training in R software and bibliometric analysis. The programme greatly strengthened participants’ research competence and analytical skills, enabling them to confidently develop high-quality scholarly manuscripts.
