B.Sc. Applied Economics
The B.Sc. in Applied Economics programme equips students with the analytical tools and practical knowledge to understand and address real-world economic issues. The curriculum blends economic theory with quantitative methods, data analysis, and policy applications, preparing students to interpret complex economic phenomena and make informed decisions. Graduates of this programme are well-prepared for careers in economic research, data analytics, banking, consulting, and public sector organizations, as well as for pursuing higher studies in economics and related disciplines.
The B.Sc is a three year degree programme. However, as per the provisions of the new National Education Policy (NEP 2020), a student may continue into the fourth year and earn a B.Sc Honours degree.
