Certificate Course on Aptitude Skills

The Department of Management introduced a 30-hour Certificate Course on “Aptitude Skills” for second and final year undergraduate students to strengthen their analytical and problem-solving abilities. The primary objective of the programme was to equip learners with essential aptitude skills required for competitive examinations through systematic and structured problem-solving approaches. Aptitude, defined as acquired abilities, skills, and knowledge necessary for effective task performance, formed the core focus of the course.
Faculty members from the BBA department conducted daily sessions from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM, ensuring consistency and disciplined learning. Topics were allocated based on faculty expertise, and sessions emphasized conceptual clarity, logical reasoning, quantitative techniques, and shortcut methods. In addition to classroom teaching, students were provided with practice exercises to improve speed, accuracy, and application skills.
The programme significantly enhanced students’ analytical thinking and conceptual understanding. It enabled them to approach problems methodically and apply efficient techniques in various aptitude domains. Overall, the course strengthened students’ confidence to face competitive and banking examinations, improved their employability skills, and supported their preparation for academic advancement and professional success.
