Expert Talk on Research as a Mindset: Learning to See the World Differently

The Department of Management, School of Business and Management, Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University), through its Student’s Research Club, organized an expert talk titled “Research as a Mindset: Learning to See the World Differently” on 29th October 2025. The session, led by Dr. Kaleeshwari Selvaraj, Assistant Professor, Department of Management, aimed to inspire students to view research not merely as an academic exercise but as a transformative way of thinking and understanding the world. Dr. Kaleeshwari highlighted how adopting a research-oriented mindset enhances curiosity, critical thinking, and innovation, enabling individuals to question assumptions and seek deeper insights into real-world challenges. The interactive session encouraged students to develop a habit of inquiry and evidence-based reasoning, aligning with the University’s mission to foster intellectual growth and a culture of lifelong learning among future researchers and leaders.


Leaders on Campus Lecture Series

The Department of Management and Department of Professional Management Studies under the esteemed School of Business and Management, Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University) in association with The Times of India in Campus (TOIC) organised a Leaders on Campus Lecture Series focusing on the theme “Building a Successful AI Business” for the first semester students on 12th September 2025. The initiative was designed to provide students with deep insights into the emerging role of Artificial Intelligence in shaping modern enterprises. The programme comprised two significant events – the Special Lecture and a Panel Discussion. The first session of the series was inaugurated with a Presidential Address delivered by Fr. Dr. Lijo P Thomas, Pro Vice Chancellor of Kristu Jayanti University who emphasized the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence and the importance of preparing future managers to harness technological innovations. The keynote lecture was delivered by Mr. Saurabh Chandra, CEO of Ati Motors, Bengaluru. As an accomplished entrepreneur and leader in AI-driven technologies, Mr. Chandra shared his expertise on how AI is revolutionizing businesses across industries. He highlighted the challenges and opportunities in building an AI business, stressing the need for innovation, adaptability, and ethical considerations in AI deployment. The lecture series was followed by a Panel Discussion that further deepened the discourse on the same theme. The panel featured Mr. Saurabh Chandra, CEO of Ati Motors and Dr. Aloysius Edward J, Registrar In-charge of Kristu Jayanti University. The discussion was dynamic and interactive, encouraging critical thinking among participants. Mr. Chandra offered insights from an industry perspective, discussing the real-world applications of AI, scalability of AI-driven solutions, and the challenges of leading a tech-focused enterprise. Dr. Aloysius Edward J complemented this with an academic viewpoint, highlighting the role of universities in nurturing talent that can effectively contribute to AI innovation and responsible business practices. Both events successfully achieved their objective of creating an engaging platform for students to learn from accomplished leaders. The sessions underscored the significance of interdisciplinary learning, where technology and management converge to create impactful solutions for the future.
