Prodigy 2026 - National Level Inter Collegiate Management Fest

Prodigy is a National-Level Intercollegiate Management Fest conducted annually since 2003, with the objective of creating a platform for students to showcase and sharpen their abilities in innovation, creativity, and problem-solving. Rooted in the ideals of Light and Prosperity, the fest seeks to enlighten minds and enrich the learning journeys of future managers.

The much-anticipated inauguration of Prodigy 2026 was held on 20th January 2026 at 9:15 a.m. in the A2 Auditorium, Administrative Block. The ceremony commenced in the august presence of distinguished dignitaries, faculty members, students, industry professionals and participants from across the country. The inaugural address was delivered by Dr. Aman Jain, CHRO, e2E Rail, Bengaluru, who emphasized the importance of nurturing managerial talent in today’s rapidly evolving business landscape. In his address, he highlighted emerging HR trends and the essential skills young professionals must develop to stay relevant.

Another key moment of the inauguration was the address by Fr. Dr. Lijo P. Thomas, Pro Vice Chancellor, Kristu Jayanti University, who spoke about the transformational learning journey students undergo through participation in such competitions. He also underlined how these platforms foster meaningful friendships and collaborative learning, which go beyond the classroom.

The theme for this year, “THE TENET,” conveys that sustainable success is achieved when lessons from the past guide present actions and self-reflection shapes future strategies. It reinforces the idea that innovation does not exist in isolation but is cultivated through experience, introspection, and foresight.

Prodigy 2026 featured a total of six events. Five events were conducted with three competitive rounds each, and the Corporate Ad event had two rounds. Participants were rigorously tested on their theoretical understanding, practical application, creativity, innovation, and problem-solving abilities.

The Valedictory Ceremony took place at 4:30 p.m. in the A2 Auditorium, Administrative Block. The event was graced by Fr. Jais V. Thomas, Chief Financial Officer, Dr. C. Surendranath Reddy, Dean, School of Business and Management, and Prof. Suku Thomas Samuel, Head, Department of Management, along with faculty members and student coordinators. The auditorium was energized by a vibrant gathering of participants, with 62 event registrations, including 10 overall team registrations, participation from three outstation colleges, and a total of 345 participants from across India.

The Overall Championship was won by Christ University, Bengaluru, while the Runner-Up Championship was secured by St. Joseph’s College of Commerce, Bengaluru.

The student coordinators Ms. Padmini Priyom and Mr. Gulam Hassan, along with the faculty coordinators Mr. Bijin Philip, Dr. Geethu Anna Mathew, and Dr. Shruthika, expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the successful planning and execution of Prodigy 2026. The dedication and commitment of the organizing team were clearly reflected in the seamless coordination and grand success of the fest.


Acumen - The Succession”, an Intra-Departmental Management Fest

The Department of Management at Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University) organized “Acumen – The Succession”, an Intra-Departmental Management Fest, on 20th August 2025, providing a dynamic platform for I & III Semester BBA students to showcase their managerial skills and innovative thinking. The event commenced with an inspiring inaugural address by Mr. Thejus K Vincent, Deputy Manager, Marketing, Malayala Manorama Ltd, who emphasized the importance of innovation in product development as a vital tool for identifying and fulfilling consumer needs in today’s competitive market. The Presidential Address was delivered by Rev. Fr. Jais V Thomas, Chief Financial Officer, who encouraged students to seize such opportunities to strengthen their leadership and decision-making abilities. A total of 530 students actively participated in diverse competitions including Marketing, Human Resource, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Best Manager, and Pressure Pitch, each designed to assess strategic, analytical, and creative competencies. The fest fostered a spirit of collaboration, experiential learning, and healthy competition, while serving as a platform for knowledge exchange. The event concluded with a note of appreciation to all participants and organizers for their significant contribution in making Acumen 2025 a remarkable success.
