Soft Skills Club Inauguration & Training Session on Express to Impress

The Department of Management, in collaboration with the Centre for Soft Skills and Aptitude Training (CSSAT) and the School of Business and Management, Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, inaugurated the Soft Skills Club, “SkillSphere Club,” on 11th September 2026. The club was inaugurated by Chief Guest Ms. Soumya Natarajan, Founder & CEO, Unnathi Career Solutions, Bengaluru, followed by the Presidential Address by Fr. Jibin Joy, Campus Administrator. The initiative aims to provide students with continuous opportunities to strengthen employability, communication, interpersonal and professional skills. The inauguration was complemented by a training session, “Express to Impress – Master the Skill of Speaking with Confidence,” for First Year BBA students. The session focused on overcoming public-speaking anxiety and developing confidence, clarity and audience connection through effective body language, eye contact, gestures, speech structuring, storytelling and audience engagement. Students also learned practical techniques for managing nervousness and handling unexpected speaking situations. The programme strengthened students’ public-speaking competence, interpersonal communication and presentation skills, supporting their academic and professional development.
