Rekindle - Alumni Batch Gathering

The Alumni Interaction Programme was conducted on 27 March 2026 through Zoom Workplace online meeting platform with the participation of 21 distinguished alumni from the 2001–2022 batches. The programme was organized with the objective of strengthening the bond between the University and its alumni while enhancing the Jayantian Alumni Network as a platform for mentorship, professional networking, and career guidance. The session began with a warm welcome followed by addresses from Head of the Department Mr. Suku Thomas Samuel and Coordinator Dr. Prasana P, who highlighted the important role alumni play in shaping the professional growth of students and discussed the University’s efforts to establish a Registered Alumni Association in accordance with UGC norms. The alumni participants shared their professional experiences, career journeys, and insights from the corporate world, offering valuable guidance on career development, adaptability, and professional identity. The programme also emphasized the importance of strengthening alumni connections and updating alumni contact details to support future engagement activities and networking initiatives. The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Ms. Sony N, Faculty Coordinator, who expressed gratitude to all alumni and faculty members for their active participation and support in making the session successful.

Retrace : An Alumni Interaction on Navigating Career Paths

The Department of Management, Kristu Jayanti University, organized an insightful session on “Retrace: An Alumni Interaction on Navigating Career Paths.” A total of 272 students enthusiastically participated in the event, which was conducted exclusively for BBA students. The session was led by our esteemed alumna, Mr. Manish Sasidharan, Manager at a reputed MNC in Bangalore.The lecture aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world applications, providing students with valuable exposure to practical career insights. The session was highly interactive, with students actively engaging in discussions and posing thoughtful questions. It enabled participants to gain a deeper understanding of career opportunities, industry expectations, and essential professional skills.
Mr. Manish also shared his personal career journey, emphasizing the importance of adaptability, continuous learning, and effective communication in the corporate world. The session motivated students to set clear career goals and prepare strategically for future challenges. Overall, the event was a great success, strengthening the bond between alumni and the institution while inspiring students to pursue excellence in their professional endeavors.
