ISRO – START 2026 Programme Theme: Observation from Space

The ISRO START-26 (Space Science and Technology Awareness Training) programme was successfully conducted with Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University) serving as a nodal center for the initiative. The programme aimed to enhance awareness and knowledge in the field of space science and technology among undergraduate students. A total of 55 final-year students from the departments of Physical Sciences (CSEL, PHCS, and PHEL) actively participated in the programme.

The sessions were conducted in an online mode, enabling students to attend conveniently using their own devices. The sessions provided valuable insights into various aspects of space research, satellite technology, remote sensing, and emerging trends in the Indian space sector. The programme was well-received by the students, offering them an opportunity to interact with experts, gain exposure to real-world applications, and understand career prospects in space science and technology. Being a nodal center, Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University) effectively coordinated the programme, ensuring smooth execution and active engagement of participants. ISRO START-26 proved to be an enriching learning experience, inspiring students to explore advanced domains in science and technology and motivating them towards research and innovation in the space sector. As part of the programme requirements, all participating students appeared for the online examination conducted on 10/04/2026.
