International Conference on Harnessing AI to Empower Smarter Financial Decisions

The School of Commerce, Accounting and Finance, Department of Commerce, Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, Karnataka, India in collaboration with North-West University, Potchefstroom, South Africa organized the International Conference on Harnessing AI to Empower Smarter Financial Decisions on 17th and 18th March, 2026. Mr. Naveen Benny, Founder and CEO, Prometei Labs, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India inaugurated it. He highlighted the rapid advancement of AI technologies by citing examples such as the ability of AI-driven organizations to develop complex systems, including software compilers, within a remarkably short period. According to him, the efficiency of AI tools has increased dramatically, enabling individuals with sound judgement and technical understanding to build solutions in days rather than years, and at a substantially lower cost than traditional team-based development. Ms. Dona Das, Private Equity Analyst, Gain. Pro, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India undertook the first key note session. She provided information on how AI is transforming private equity by enabling faster data analysis, smarter deal evaluation, and more confident investment decisions. This was followed by Paper Presentation Session chaired by Dr. Chandrakhanthan J, Faculty, Department of Commerce, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Dr. Jaco Fouche undertook the second keynote session. He explained as to how AI is shifting the role of advisers from routine data analysis to more strategic and client-centric functions. With the help of AI, advisers can now deliver highly personalized financial recommendations based on real-time data and predictive insights. The third keynote session was led by Mr. Lammuansiam Gangte, Independent Quant Professional, Bengaluru, Karnataka explained how AI models can simulate a wide range of economic scenarios, including extreme and unpredictable market conditions. By doing so, organizations can better understand potential risks and prepare for financial uncertainties. This was again followed by Paper Presentation Session chaired by Dr. Chandrakhanthan J, Faculty, Department of Commerce, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Prof. Lilian Nwosu headed the last keynote session. She highlighted that AI-driven tools can help individuals better understand budgeting, investment, and risk management concepts. The session also emphasized as to how improved financial literacy can empower individuals to make smarter financial decisions.

10th International Conference on “Sustainable Economic Growth through Digital Revolution” (SEGDR)
The School of Commerce, Accounting and Finance, Department of Commerce, Kristu Jayanti University, proudly inaugurated the 10th International Conference on “Sustainable Economic Growth through Digital Revolution” (SEGDR) on 25th September 2025 . The inaugural ceremony was graced by Mr. Mehul Doshi, Chief Guest, CTO of Jainam Technologies and Research Director of Jeevalaya.
In his inspiring inaugural address, Mr. Mehul Doshi emphasized the crucial role of the digital revolution in fostering sustainable, inclusive, and innovation-driven economic growth on a global scale. He highlighted how emerging technologies can be harnessed to create green solutions and stronger international collaborations. He shared insightful perspectives on the rising network complexities and associated risks, stressing the need for a resilient ecosystem. He also highlighted the digital revolution in hardware and the importance of embedding sustainable practices, noting that every step today marks a digital shift.
The Presidential Address was delivered by Fr. Dr. Augustine George CMI, Vice Chancellor, who underscored the university’s commitment to promoting global academic dialogue and interdisciplinary learning.
Mr. Sunpreet Singh, Guest of Honor, Co-Founder & CEO of HR for You, highlighted the role of digital innovations in reshaping human resource management and organizational growth. He emphasized the need for future leaders to blend technology with empathy and sustainability to ensure positive impact on business and society. In his inspiring inaugural address, Mr. Sunpreet Singh provided deep insights into his work in the HR domain, outlining how his company integrates conversational AI and AI-powered resume evaluation to enhance efficiency and decision-making. He further highlighted the transformative role of IoT, AI, and sustainability, emphasizing the need to keep AI human-centric and leverage it as a strategic advantage.
The program commenced with an invocation song involving the blessings of Almighty, followed by a cordial welcome address from Dr. Vijay Kumar R, Dean, School of Commerce, Accounting & Finance. Dr. Arti Singh, Conference Convener, presented the conference prelude, outlining the objectives of this milestone event and its vision to provide a platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to share ideas and solutions for a sustainable future. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Madhu Druva Kumar, Head, Department of Commerce.
The International Conference has witnessed an overwhelming response with a total of 335 registrations, of which 235 papers are being presented across multiple technical sessions. Notably, 73 selected papers published in an IBSN book, 125 papers are going for the for the Springer Nature–Scopus indexed volumes, reflecting the quality and academic contribution of this international gathering. We have papers from 13 different states across India, and Globe.
The two-day conference will feature thought-provoking keynote sessions, plenary discussions, and research presentations, addressing the transformative impact of digital technologies on sustainable economic growth.

International Conference on Metaverse in Business and Commerce: Trends, Challenges and Opportunities (ICMBC 2025)

The Department of Commerce PG organized The International Conference on Metaverse in Business and Commerce: Trends, Challenges and Opportunities (ICMBC 2025) in collaboration with Birmingham City University, United Kingdom and EuroMid Academy of Business and Technology, Turkey on 25th and 26th March 2025.
The keynote sessions at the international conference offered valuable insights into emerging technologies. Mr. Navin Manaswi, CEO of WowExp and India representative at ITU-T, Geneva, discussed "Digital Twinning and Redefining Asset Lifecycle Management," emphasizing how the metaverse fosters talent development, unlocks new potential, and drives borderless transformation. Dr. Venkatesh Chennam Vijay, Associate Professor at Birmingham City University, handled the second keynote session highlighting the diversification of immersive technologies—VR, AR, and AI-governed digital twins—underscoring their profound impact on service sectors like education and healthcare. The third session was carried by Dr. Mukund Raj, Advisor at NABARD Consultancy Services, explored new markets driven by quantum computing, AI, and metaverse marketing, focusing on ESG tokens, carbon credits, and green NFTs aligned with sustainable development goals. Finally, Mr. Sunil David, Digital Technology Consultant and former Regional IoT Director at AT&T India, reflected on how the metaverse is shaping the future of enterprise, transforming business operations and fostering innovative digital ecosystems. Each session illuminated the evolving technological landscape and its far-reaching implications.
The conference gave opportunities for paper presentation and Scopus indexed book chapter publications.
