Bio-science Laboratory

The Department of Life Sciences is well-equipped with four state-of-the-art laboratories dedicated to Genetics, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, and Microbiology, along with specialized Animal Tissue Culture and Research Laboratories, providing students with a comprehensive practical and research-oriented learning environment.

The Animal Tissue Culture Laboratory enables students to gain hands-on experience in cell culture techniques, aseptic handling, and maintenance of cell lines, supporting learning in modern biomedical and biotechnological applications.

The Research Laboratory provides a dedicated space for student projects and faculty research, fostering innovation and encouraging interdisciplinary studies. It supports work in areas such as molecular biology, recombinant DNA (rDNA) technology, plant biotechnology, microbiology, enzymology, and cytogenetics.
