Pre-Event to the International Trade Fair – 2026

The Pre-Event to the International Trade Fair–2026, organised by the Department of Agriculture, Government of Karnataka, in collaboration with the Department of Life Sciences, Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University), was inaugurated on 28 January 2026.

Held under the theme “Agriculture Beyond Cultivation – Empowering Farmers,” the event was graced by Sri. N. Chaluvarayaswamy, Hon’ble Minister of Agriculture, Government of Karnataka, along with senior IAS officers, department heads, and academic leaders.

The programme provided students with meaningful exposure to agricultural policy, innovation, and real-world perspectives, strengthening the connection between academic learning and practical application.
