Distinguished alumni Ms. Anjana Menon, Analyst, Knowledge Management, Deloitte, Bengaluru; Mr. Shombit Das, Apprentice Employment Brand, Target, Bengaluru; and Ms. Sonjukta Chatterjee, Executive, Practive LLC, Bengalurushared insights on transitioning to corporate careers. Moderated by Dr Giftsy Dorcas E, the session highlighted skills, challenges, placements, and strategies essential for professional growth and success.


Entrepreneurship Shapes the Future

The Jayantian Alumni Entrepreneurs Forum of Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, organised an inspiring Alumni Talk session titled “Entrepreneurship Shapes the Future” on 15th October 2025. The event was held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at M3 Auditorium, Main Block. The distinguished resource person for the session was Mr. Sandeep Titus, Managing Director, Novadaya Foods, and a proud alumnus of Kristu Jayanti College. The session aimed to motivate and guide students toward entrepreneurial thinking and innovation-driven careers. Mr. Sandeep Titus shared his entrepreneurial journey, highlighting the challenges and opportunities in the food industry. He emphasized the importance of perseverance, creativity, and adaptability in the path to success. His insights on transforming ideas into sustainable business ventures inspired the student to explore entrepreneurship as a career choice. The interactive session saw enthusiastic participation from students’ community, who engaged in discussions and raised insightful questions about business planning and innovation.The talk concluded with an expression of gratitude to the resource person for his valuable time and contribution. The session successfully encouraged students to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset and strive for excellence in their future endeavors.


Circulus Plena Building career foundation through internship and Certifications

The Department of English, under the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, organised a Meet Your Alumni session Ciculus Plena on 20th August 2025, at 1.45 pm in M2 Auditorium, Main Block. The event featured Ms. Isha Parvatiyar, an alumna of 2025 MA English Literature Batch and currently working as a Reporter and Copy Editor at Indulge Express, The New Indian Express, Hyderabad. The theme of the session was “Building Career Foundations through Internships and Certifications.” Ms. Parvatiyar, shared her professional experiences and emphasised the importance of flexibility, adaptability, and continuous learning through internships and certifications as essential qualities for success in professional life. The session proved highly motivating and offered valuable insights into diverse career-building opportunities available to English graduates beyond the conventional fields of teaching and research.

Alumni Interactive Session Build While You Breathe: Crafting a Life During College for What Comes After

The Department of English, Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University), organized an engaging Alumni Interactive Session titled “Build While You Breathe: Crafting a Life During College for What Comes After” on 30th July 2025 at 3:30 PM in the H2 Auditorium, Humanities Block. The session featured Ms. Harsha Ann Biju, Teacher at The Asian School, Bahrain, and proud alumna of the JPENG batch 2020–23, as the esteemed resource person. Drawing from her personal experiences and professional journey, Ms. Biju offered insightful perspectives on how students can make the most of their college years to prepare for life beyond graduation. She emphasized the importance of self-discovery, skill development, and embracing opportunities both within and outside the classroom. Her reflections struck a chord with the audience, particularly as they came from someone who once sat in the same classrooms. The event also featured a lively Q & A session, during which students enthusiastically interacted with the speaker, seeking advice on academic choices, career paths, and personal growth. The session proved to be highly motivating, leaving the attendees inspired and more confident about their own journeys.
