As academic research changes, preprints become one of the most advanced tools for scholars worldwide. They reflect an initial communication of research results ahead of traditional peer evaluation and allow for fast distribution and intellectual space exchange across the international research community.
A preprint is a sophisticated strategy in an extensive publication career. Preprints allow for the early public dissemination of research to increase visibility, capitalising on collaboration or feedback that might enhance the final published product.
It is hardly surprising that leading scholars across the globe routinely post preprints. It amplifies the reach and impact of their work and creates their identity as thought leaders in their niche domains.
I have adopted this approach in my academic journey. Around 32 Scopus-indexed preprints illustrate my ongoing scholarly productivity and intense devotion to advancing knowledge. Every preprint is a work of research and an attempt towards the greater process of academic discourse.
Preprints are now the new essential component in a rapidly evolving research landscape. If you want to take the lead, create and inspire innovation, and leave a lasting impact in your discipline, launching a preprint is no longer a choice, but a necessity.
