On March 6th, 2024, Kristu Jayanti College Autonomous organized an Expert Talk on "Understanding Sports Biomechanics in Enhancing Sports Performance." Dr. Saju Joseph, Former High-Performance Director of SAI, highlighted the importance of customized conditioning strategies for team sports. Attendees engaged in discussions, gaining insights into optimizing athletic performance through personalized training methods. Dr. Joseph's expertise deepened participants' understanding of sports conditioning, underscoring the college's commitment to excellence in sports education and training. Mr. Arockiaraj S, Physical Education Director of Kristu Jayanti College, delivered the welcome speech, setting the Expert Talk’s tone. Fr. Jais V Thomas, Financial Administrator and Faculty Member, highlighted the college's dedication to holistic development by attending the event. The Expert Talk wrapped up with Ms. Gomathy P, Physical Education Teacher, giving a vote of thanks to speakers and participants. Engaging with Dr. Joseph expanded attendees' understanding of effective team sports conditioning. Seminar on Genetic Testing for Sports Nutrition
On September 12, 2023, Kristu Jayanti College Autonomous hosted a seminar on "Genetic Testing for Sports Nutrition" at Admin Block A3 Audi, at 10 am. Mr. S Arockiaraj, the Physical Education Director, delivered the welcome speech, followed by Fr. Dr. Augustine George, the Principal, who inaugurated the event. Ms. Laxmi Pandrala, CEO of LAMI Fit, delivered the keynote address, shedding light on the significance of genetic testing in sports nutrition. Ms. Pandrala's presentation highlighted the significance and benefits of genetic testing in sports nutrition, offering real-world examples. Attendees gained insight into how this approach can optimize athletic performance. The seminar ended at 12 pm, leaving participants with a deep appreciation for the intersection of genetics and sports nutrition and showcasing Kristu Jayanti College's commitment to holistic learning.
