Jayantian Extension Services (JES)
JES was started to promote social concern and good citizenship among the students through extension and social outreach programmes.
The Centres under JES are:
1. National Service Scheme (NSS)
2. National Cadet Corps (NCC)
3. Centre for Social Activities (CSA)
4. Unnat Bhārat Abhiyān (UBA) Unit
5. Karnataka Civil Defence Corps (KCDC)
- To assess the needs of the local community
- To establish institution-neighbourhood network
- To promote holistic development of nearby villages
- To plan and liaison with various departments in their outreach and extension programmes
