Inclusion Awareness Day
An Inclusion Awareness session was organized at a nearby government school with the aim of educating and sensitizing students about the importance of inclusivity and respect for diversity. The program was conducted as part of a community outreach initiative to promote values of equality and acceptance among young learners.

The session was held from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM and focused on explaining the concept of inclusion in a simple and relatable way. Students were taught that every individual is unique and deserves equal respect, opportunities, and participation, regardless of differences in ability, background, gender, or social status


Manava Adhikarah
A Child Rights Awareness session was conducted at a nearby government school with the aim of educating and sensitizing students about their fundamental rights and responsibilities. The program was organized as part of a community outreach initiative to promote awareness of children’s rights and to encourage a safe, supportive environment for their overall development.

The session was held from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM and focused on explaining key child rights in a simple and engaging manner. Students were introduced to important rights such as the Right to Education, Right to Protection, Right to Participation, and Right to Equality. Volunteers used easy-to-understand examples from daily life to help students grasp the significance of these rights.


Suraksita Sparsa – Good Touch and Bad Touch Awareness
A Suraksita Sparsa (Good Touch and Bad Touch) Awareness session was conducted at a nearby government school with the aim of educating students about personal safety and body awareness. The program was organized as part of a community outreach initiative to help children understand how to protect themselves and recognize unsafe situations.

The session was held from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM and focused on explaining the concepts of good touch, bad touch, and unsafe touch in a simple and age-appropriate manner. Students were taught that a good touch makes them feel safe and comfortable, such as a hug from parents or a handshake, while a bad touch can make them feel uncomfortable, scared, or confused.


Bala Yoga Vikas
The Jayantian Extension Services – Committee for Community Services, in association with the Yoga and Wellness Club, organized “Bala Yoga Vikas: Yoga for the Holistic Development of Children” at Government Kannada Primary School, N. Nagenhalli, Bengaluru, on 23rd February 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The programme aimed to promote physical fitness, mental wellbeing, and value-based development among school children.

The session began with a silent prayer to create a calm and focused environment, followed by warm-up exercises such as slow walking and jogging with arm swings, joint rotations, and hip twists.


Orientation for Student Members

The orientation for the Committee for Community Education (C2E) began with an engaging activity to build team rapport. The session emphasized a deep commitment to being community-focused, specifically focusing on the welfare of children and the older generation. Members were briefed on their roles as mentors for youth and as support systems for the elderly to help them identify scams and financial burdens.


Nyayabodhah

The Legal Aid, in collaboration with the Clinic Committee for Community Education, organized a legal awareness programme with the active participation of first-year law students. The primary objective of this initiative was to create awareness among community members about their basic rights and entitlements, while also sensitizing students to the importance of law as a tool for social empowerment.As part of the programme, students conducted a survey and visited 5 to 10 families in the neighborhood. During these visits, they interacted with residents, explained fundamental rights, and specifically addressed the rights of workers and laborers. The sessions highlighted essential legal protections available to them, enabling individuals to recognize their entitlements and avenues for seeking support.


Vidya Techno
A computer literacy session was conducted at a nearby government school with the objective of creating awareness and providing a basic understanding of computers among primary school students. The session took place from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM as part of a community outreach initiative aimed at promoting digital education at the grassroots level.

During the session, students were introduced to the fundamental components of a computer, including the monitor, keyboard, mouse, and CPU. The facilitators explained the basic uses of computers in everyday life, such as in education, communication, and entertainment, using simple and easy-to-understand language.
