Volleyball Women Intra Collegiate Selection Trails

On September 13th, 2022, the eagerly anticipated volleyball selection trial for the college team was held at the college volleyball court, with the college’s esteemed Physical Education Director Mr. Arockiaraj S, and seasoned Volleyball Coach Mr. Srihari Krishnamurthy overseeing the proceedings. The selection trial had 29 passionate participants from both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. After intense evaluation and scrutiny, 13 players emerged victorious, earning the desirable opportunity for professional coaching. This rigorous selection process not only underscored the depth of talent within the college’s student body but also demonstrated the institution’s commitment to fostering excellence in sports across all academic levels.

The selection trials for various sports and games started on 5 July 2018 and ended on 25 July 2018. A total student count of 602 attended the selection trials out of which a total of 266 students were selected for the coaching camp. This year the selections were conducted for Basketball, Football, Volleyball, Throw ball, Badminton, Cricket, Athletics, Chess, Boxing, and Taekwondo.

A total student count of 469 attended the selection trials out of which a total of 178 students were selected for the coaching camp. This year the selections were conducted for Basketball, Football, Volleyball, Throw ball, Badminton, Cricket, Athletics, Chess, Boxing, and Taekwondo.
