Testimonials for Anchors Association

Giving an individual a space to speak, present themselves and display what they are, is what I consider to be the most important for shaping personality and giving an individual their voice, and here in Kristu Jayanti University I find my voice in Anchors Association.

My journey in the Anchors Association has been a roller coaster ride through learning the art and science of emceeing, anchoring and hosting. The association in itself being a mentor for teaching and guiding all members through various sessions conducted helps a lot in developing skills both as an anchor and as a person.

Formal sessions conducted on behalf of faculty members and student secretaries with chief guests invited, delivering their experiences, tips on the art of presenting, gives a professional outlook to students in improving their skills.

Informal and interactive sessions conducted on supervision of Student Secretaries helps members to know each other and overcome their fear of facing people and crowds. Games conducted and activities done develop the ability of being spontaneous to speak in students. With all members having equal voice to speak and suggest, through each wrong move pointed out and rectified, the association grows, improving through each mic and each stage. My experience in a short span of time itself has taught me where I am standing and how much I can potentially grow and I hold anchors association as my pillar to improvement. Being the voice of the institution, the faculty members in charge, Student Secretaries and all active members make the Anchors Association in Kristu Jayanti University HEARD!

The anchor's association has provided me with numerous opportunities in the past year. Under the guidance of teachers who have been our pillars and secretaries who have pushed us to showcase our best selves, we were given a chance to co-coordinate Micdrop'24. Apart from increasing our speaking skills with emceeing for various events at Kristu Jayanti College, the anchor's association has also helped me grow as an individual.

Being a part of the Anchors Association since my freshman year has been a transformative experience. This incredible journey has not only honed my voice modulation and public speaking skills but has also significantly improved my anchoring abilities. Through countless events and practice sessions, I've learned to engage audiences effectively, maintain poise under pressure, and deliver seamless performances. The supportive environment and the wealth of opportunities provided by the association have been instrumental in my growth. I am profoundly grateful for the chance to develop and refine these essential skills, and I cherish the lasting impact this experience has had on my personal and professional life.

The Anchors' Association has without a doubt spearheaded my life in college, giving me as a student chances to mingle with various other students whom I would have not met without this Association. The Anchors' Association has also taught me to be confident everywhere I go, despite my flaws and my shortcomings. Time management, eloquence, and versatility are a few qualities that the Anchors' Association helps a student grow and possess.

The Anchors' Association truly instils a spirit of passion and confidence in each member, passion and confidence that can be heard in each event of Kristu Jayanti College.

The welcome in itself was the best part about the anchors association. The happiness you get when you are on the stage anchoring an event, there is always one or the other member always present there to hype you up, is beyond explanations. The fun, love and care, never give up attitude and many more add to the best experiences of the anchors association. Personally, I was able to overcome my fear of 'Losing if I participate'. Anchors Association made it fun to participate in its events and that made an impact on me. The Association let me explore my strengths and weakness and helped me make it through the tough days. Overall, I just feel that I must have joined the association way earlier, so that I could have learnt more and had much more fun.
